Iowa Baseball – Duane Banks Field Infield Replacement – 2013

MBA Incorporated was the General Contractor for this project.  The scope of this project consisted of the demolition of the existing infield and bullpens and replacing with a new synthetic turf base consisting of: excavation of the sod, dirt, and infield material; laser grading dirt base layer to + or – ¼”; installing filter fabric under tile; installation of collector tile and 12” flat tile; forming and pouring concrete curb with nailer boards; two layers of rock laser graded to + or – ¼”; laser grading warning track; forming and pouring a concrete pitching mound designed for an artificial field; installing bases; and miscellaneous work.
