MBA was the General Contractor for this project. The problem for this project was the area is low and prone to flooding. The scope of work included – leveling the ground in the throw area; remove and replace hammer throw circle and adjoining concrete; install 4” collector tile; install 4’ diameter sump pit, 8’ deep; remove 12” of dirt in a 60’ x 50’ area in front and under the hammerthrow circle; laser grade sub-grade to drain into collector tile; install filter fabric and then place 500’ of 2” x 12” Advantage tile to drain to collector tile; install 1” clean ballast over tile and filter fabric; place 3” layer of pea gravel over ballast; repair hammer throw cage; trenching electric lines; and installing a concrete electrical pole for sump pump.
