MBA removes the organic layer of turf from existing athletic fields using an 8′ wide Blec combinator. The combinator can mow the grass at a 3″ height or remove anywhere from 1/4″ to 3″ of dirt and sod and conveys the spoils into a turf wagon all in one pass. It is key to eliminate the organic layer in order to produce a high quality grade. This greatly reduces or eliminates ponding of water due to settlement or poor compaction in low slope areas.
