Prospect Meadows Ball Field Complex is a 17-field baseball and softball complex located northeast of Marion, Iowa.  The first phase of the project included (8) full sized baseball fields, a Miracle Field designed for disabled players, several buildings, a parking lot, roadway, lighting, and site improvements.  MBA Incorporated was involved in building all 8 of the full sized baseball fields.  All 8 infields were artificial turf and all 8 outfields were natural grass.  The work for all 8 fields included all final field grading.  The outfield work for all 8 fields included installing irrigation, final grading, and seeding.  All 8 infield work involved grading and compacting dirt, installing collector tile and 12″ turf flow tile, installing filter fabric between the dirt and tile, installing 2 layers of rock and compaction, and a nailer board for the turf to be anchored to.  Turf was installed by others.  Work also included fencing, foul pole, backstop installation, warning track grading and material installation, and grading and material installation for the bullpens.
