Field Hockey Grandstand Replace Turf System – 2013

MBA Incorporated was the General Contractor for this project.  The project involved a new field hockey pitch system that included removal of the existing turf and e-layer; excavation of approximately 2,000 tons of rock and approximately 4,000 cubic yards of dirt; chemical stabilization of a 12” thick layer of dirt; new drainage system and collector tile; aggregate base laser graded to ¼”; two courses of porous asphalt laid to within 1/8”; a new artificial turf and pad; and miscellaneous work.
